This utterly charming property is located in the far north of Madagascar near the village of Joffreville, on the lower slopes of the Montagne d’Ambre National Park.
Each of the twelve chalets are reminiscent of an African tented safari lodge, substituting canvas walls with local wood. There is a thatched roof, an en-suite shower room to the rear of the bungalow, and a small deck which has impressive views stretching over towards Diego Suarez Bay.
The restaurant has some of the best home-made foods in Madagascar, inspired by the French manager and chef, and breakfasts to die for with fresh, tasty local fruit marmalades. Choose to dine inside or out on the terrace overlooking beautifully maintained gardens, and a cosy bar area completes a truly welcoming experience.
Nature Lodge is a great location to explore the best of the scenic attractions of Madagascar's northern tip. The Primary rainforest of Montagne d'Ambre is on the doorstep, whilst Ankarana Special Reserve, the Red Tsingy, Montange des Français and The Three Bays are all just a day trip from this idyllic base.
