Oberoi

Premier Destination

Only four years since it opened, The Oberoi combines the best of Indian, African and European cultures. It has an oceanfront setting on the north-west coast of the island close to fashionable Grand Baie – the French Riviera of Mauritius. The world renowned Oberoi tradition of faultless hospitality and style permeates every aspect of this exclusive hotel. It has already been recognised with The Leading Hotels of the World Commitment to Quality Service Award.

73 luxury Villas and Pavilions nestle within 20 acres of sub-tropical gardens leading down to an impressive six hundred metre ocean front. As with the Prince Maurice it is one of the few mountain hotels with individual villas. The Luxury Pavilions consist of spacious bedrooms with sitting areas and outdoor terraces, whilst the villas include bedroom pavilions, open-air dining areas and walled courtyards, many with private swimming pools.

Creole, French and Oriental dishes feature on the menu of the open-air restaurant, whilst lighter lunches and snacks are available at the pool bar. The thatched open dining area, with views of the sparkling ocean, offers an unparalleled dining experience.

Recreational facilities include two tennis courts, two swimming pools, watersports such as windsurfing and water-skiing, as well as a gymnasium. Golf is available a short distance away. There is a gym and the Oberoi Spa by Banyan Tree is a true sanctuary of relaxation, offering traditional treatments using only natural products.

The Oberoi is a 50 minute transfer from the airport.
