Three kilometres east of Mahe lies Cerf Island. Cerf Island is one of an enchanting necklace of islands around Victoria Bay, and the first marine park in the Indian Ocean. Cerf Island Lodge is the only lodge on the island.
At Cerf Island Lodge there are 12 smart villas built into the hillside. The Timber Lodges are the largest and have a study room that can be turned into a second bedroom. The Hillside and Hideaway Lodges are smaller with a half open-air bathroom with a double bath. The Hideaway villas with ocean views and private gardens are ideal for honeymooners.
Cerf Island Lodge’s locally styled clifftop restaurant offers fantastic views and modern French and classic Creole cuisine. The second restaurant is more casual and overlooks the beach and the swimming pool.
At Cerf Island there is unforgettable swimming and snorkelling along the island’s protected reef. There is also a variety of other activities from kayaking and snorkelling to picnics and nature trails as well as a wonderful new spa. The regular boat shuttle to Seychelles Mahe makes it easy to arrange excursions.
