Classic Destination
To reach Desroches from Seychelles Mahe, you fly over 250 kilometres of nothing but clear turquoise sea. Desroches boasts 14 classified dive sites and seven miles of sandy beach - all for one hotel - the emphasis here is firmly on relaxation.
Desroches is the only hotel on the island. There are 20 spacious suites close to the water’s edge.
There are two restaurants. Both offer Creole, French and European cuisine enhanced with local spices and flavours. The beach restaurant offers an alternative and informal atmosphere.
The waters surrounding Desroches are protected and renowned for the quality of their diving and phenomenal snorkelling. The big game fishing around Desrcohes is excellent; there is bone fishing from May to November. Canoeing, windsurfing, tennis and sailing are on offer too. Outside each room are mountain bikes and guests can spend the day exploring the desert island paradise of Desroches. Packed lunches are provided and daybeds are scattered throughout the island. There is a lot to do at Desroches which makes it is a great Seychelles destination for families.
