The Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa is situated on Seychelles' main island Mahe. It is a new four and a half star hotel and a destination that we would strongly recommend. It is a place of total relaxation in one of the most romantic and captivating locations in the world with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean and nearby Silhouette and North Islands. It is west facing and gets magnificent sunsets.
This secluded resort has 40 luxurious and contemporary private villas, nestled into the hillside with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean. There are 14 deluxe oceanfront villas and 26 ocean view hillside villas - all with stunning views. The deluxe oceanfront villas are single storey, and most of the ocean view hillside villas are double storey. The villas are designed in the traditional, Seychellois architecture, a blending of colonial and contemporary decor with its typical high ceilings, dormers, detailed balustrades, airy verandas, and glass panel French doors, all constructed of beautiful, imported timber to blend in with the surrounding natural landscape. Bathrooms are spacious, sunlit and feature black granite. The Villas are bright, breezy, and spacious, more than 90 square meters, with beautiful views from the bedroom, living room and bathroom. They are elevated above ground on stilts, a feeling almost like living in a tree house, a quiet and peaceful retreat.
The al fresco Oceanview Bar serves drinks all day and offers a wonderfully romantic location for sundowners or pre / post dinner cocktails. The Hilltop Restaurant is the main dining room, and serves "all you can eat" buffet style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with action cooking stations and changing themes. The Hilltop is an open air restaurant featuring spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding ocean and mountain. Les Cocotiers, an optional a la carte restaurant for dinner offers a menu specialising in Creole cuisine, and local seafood.
The wonderful thing about the Northolme being so centrally located on Mahe is that guests can also take advantage of the numerous other excellent restaurants on the island; both those that are independent and those that belong to other hotels.
With dazzling white-sand coves, the resort offers complimentary snorkelling, kayaks and pedalo's and a superb range of water sports are also available at nearby Beau Vallon Bay. There is a sparkling, clear, fresh water, free form 'infinity' swimming pool which overlooks and blends into the ocean, with a unique 3 level pool deck with sun lounges and umbrellas.
