Midsummer is an immaculately maintained classic sailing schooner. You can sail between the Swahili port of Lamu, off Kenya’s stunning coastline to the beautiful spice islands of Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia.
Midsummer is 34 metres long and sleeps six. There is one double cabin with free standing bath, and two twin cabins with en suite showers making it ideal for families, groups of friends and couples. The spacious saloon, which retains its original wood panelling, has comfortable seating both for dining and lounging.
All meals are prepared by the Midsummer’s chef on board, with opportunities to sample local cuisine.
Guests are looked after by a crew of six including an experienced dive master.
Midsummer is available for diving holidays or you can merely use it to explore secluded bays and white sandy beaches where you can swim, dive, snorkel and fish in crystal clear turquoise waters. There is also plenty of time during the trip to lose yourself in the colourful ports and markets of Lamu, Mombasa and Zanzibar.
