The more adventurous might be tempted by one of our mobile safaris, the wonderful thing about this type of safari is that it can really get you way off the beaten track, however again with the operators we use this doesn't mean compromising on creature comforts! As you move, your camp is taken down and then identically replicated at a new site.

Honeymoon to Northern Tanzania & Fundu Lagoon, Zanzibar

Spend two nights at the beautiful Ngorogoro Crater Lodge, one of the most architecturally spectacular lodges in Africa. Here you will stay in a sumptuous suite, steeped in romance reminiscent of a bygone era.

You will then transfer to Serengeti Safari Camp; the location of this camp varies throughout the Serengeti so that it is strategically placed close to the anticipated path of the migration. Here you will share the space with lion and cheetah along with over a million other migratory animals.

After three nights here, you will transfer to the stunning Fundu Lagoon situated on a remote and beautiful beach on the south-western side of Zanzibar’s Pemba Island. Fundu Lagoon is only accessible by boat and from your beachfront location you can enjoy the stunning views and watersports on offer.

Honeymoon to Kenya & Funzi Keys

You will start with a two night luxury safari in Amboseli national park at Tortilis Camp in the shadows of Mount Kilimanjaro; here one cannot be more awe-inspired by the contrasts and enormity of the African landscape.

Your stay here will be followed by three nights of unrivalled wildlife viewing in the Masai Mara at Saruni Lodge which is set in a remote valley in the heart of the most exciting wilderness of Kenya.

Finally spend eight nights relaxing at Funzi Keys which is on Funzi Island, a tiny speck of land in the Indian Ocean off the Kenyan Coast. It is covered in mangrove trees, swaying palms and sugar white sand; its seclusion means that it is perfect for those honeymooners looking for the ultimate beach hideaway. Its location on a west facing beach means it has glorious African sunsets.

Honeymoon to Kruger, South Africa & Mauritius

Situated on the largest tract of private land adjoining the Kruger National Park in South Africa the renowned Mala Mala Game Reserve has opened Rattray's, a new exclusive and luxurious camp. There are superb watersports facilities on offer as well as championship golf courses and top class spas.

Honeymoon to Botswana & Benguerra Island, Mozambique

A 13 day journey taking in the Okavango Delta and Linyanti in Botswana, and Benguerra Lodge, in Mozambique.

Three nights will be spent at the small and intimate Savuti Camp in the Linyanti region of Botswana. The area is known for its large concentrations of predators, elephant and buffalo.

To follow two nights at Kwetsani Camp in the north-western reaches of Botswana's Okavango Delta. This is one of the most incredible natural wonders of the world. To reach Kwetsani you will be flying over 16,000 square kilometres of pristine wilderness, waterways and palm islands. Kwetsani is a water camp and safari activities include mokoroing in dug-out canoes, fishing, walking on palm-fringed islands and game drives during the day and night.

Two nights at Duba Plains, one of the most remote camps in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Duba Plains is famous for the interaction of lions with buffalo that is unique to this area and was the setting of a well known National Geographic documentary.

Finally a week at Benguerra Lodge on the Bazaruto Archipelago in Mozambique. Benguerra is the ultimate romantic hideaway in southern Africa and is the quintessential barefoot luxury, beach lodge destination. Benguerra Island is only 10 kilometres long and is a mecca for scuba divers.

Honeymoon to Victoria Falls & Zambia

Spend three romantic nights at the River Club, a camp that lies dreaming in dappled shade overlooking the Zambezi River; 18 kilometres upstream from the world famous Victoria Falls. Ten luxury chalets each have a split level bedroom and en-suite bathroom, and one side completely open to the river, so that there is an uninterrupted vista of the shining Zambezi and glorious African sunsets from both bed and bathtub. Zambia is an unspoilt wilderness and home to the walking safari, if the concept of an African Safari is not new to you, you may want to venture a little more off the beaten track into Zambia.

You will fly to the Luangwa Valley Region and spend 4 nights at Nkwali Camp, the land is superb game viewing country and elephants are often seen from the bar in camp crossing the Luangwa River!

Next you will spend five nights on a walking safari, sleeping under an endless sky and smelling the African bush in the early morning. At the end of the day however you will have the luxury of warm water and the time for a sundowner to reflect on the day.

Your final two nights will be spent at Tena Tena Camp which enjoys a stunning location on a wide bend of the Luangwa River; it is a small, remote and very luxurious camp.

Spend two nights at Botswana's Kingspool Camp. Kings Pool is the premier camp of the Linyanti and Chobe region of Botswana and you will stay here for two nights. The Linyanti area is known for its high concentration of predators and large herds of elephant and buffalo.

Next three days at Abu Camp in Botswana's Okavango Delta, one of the most incredible natural wonders of the world. To follow, two nights in the Kalahari Desert on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans – "The Pans" is an area of over 38,000 square kilometres of nothing; an area almost the size of Switzerland of absolutely nothing…. but it is truly an awe inspiring experience. Your home here for two nights is Jacks Camp where the hub is a romantic canvas pavilion is where everyone meets for lavish and elegant meals at a long communal dining table.
