Travellers visiting Mozambique from countries that are known to be at risk of yellow fever ( including Kenya, Tanzania, Congo and Angola) are now required to present vaccination certificates.
This follows an announcement by the Mozambican Interior and Health Ministry this week. Travellers failing to present valid certification at the point of entry will be vaccinated at the cost of approximately £40
According to the ministry, health staff have been stationed at the country's main airports, and rail and road border crossings.
