Seba Camp


Seba Camp, set in an ancient riverine forest in Botswana's Okavango Delta offers secluded, luxurious safari accommodation overlooking a lagoon teeming with animal and bird life. It very family focused with no minimum age, special family activities and a new family room.

Seba Camp has five well appointed and spacious elevated tents, each with its own en-suite bathroom and a private deck overlooking a lagoon teeming with animal and bird life. The décor of each tent celebrates the different tribes of Botswana.

The new family room can take two adults and two children and has its own small pool, toy box and sandpit. At Seba, children's packs are issued on arrival; children's menus are available and there is babysitting on request. Private safari activities are tailored to each family's needs.

The dining and bar areas is on a raised seligna deck with spectacular views, there is also a plunge pool. The camp is named after Seba, one of the elephants released from nearby Abu Camp.

The educational experience at Seba is rich. A number of elephants that were released back into the wild from Abu Camp have formed their own herd. The interaction between these and the wild herds in the area provides rich fodder for research teams from Bristol University in the UK. Guests can observe the researchers at work, often in close proximity to the elephant herds. There is also a centre for wildlife film makers.

Day and night game drives as well as private walks are on offer. Apart from the large elephant population, there is an abundance of game in this area of Botswana's Okavango Delta including giraffe, zebra, impala, wildebeest, tsessebe and lechwe. A large pride of lion has taken up residence nearby and their thrilling calls can be heard in the evenings. Large herds of buffalo are visitors too. For bird enthusiasts, some 380 different species are found in the region of Botswana's Okavango Delta.
