Kenya's Amboseli National Park is famous for its enormous elephant herds which are some of the biggest in Africa. The landscape is quintessential East Africa, flat savannah grassland stretching as far as the eye can see. The magnificent site of Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, dominates the whole park. Amboseli is rich in game with buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, eland and lion often seen.
