The location of this camp varies throughout the Serengeti so that it is strategically placed close the anticipated path of the migration. The camp changes location every 2 weeks but not during people's stay. Nothing can compare with the raw excitement of being in a tent surrounded by the wilds of Africa. By day the sense of space is mind blowing, at night sounds are amplified as natures nocturnal drama unfolds. Our clients consistently rate this experience as the highlight of their safari.
Serengeti Safari Camp is a small and traditional safari camp with double safari tents, each with en-suite bathrooms, short drop safari toilets, bucket showers and washstands. Hot and cold water is available on demand. Meals are served under the stars or in a separate dining tent. The cuisine is of the highest standard with innovative menus using fresh fruit and vegetables.
Although the camp is shared each party is guaranteed a private safari vehicle and guide. Walking safari's are sometimes possible but it does depend on the location of the camp and therefore cannot be guaranteed.
