Busanga Bush Camp in the extreme north of the Kafue National Park is on the Busanga floodplains, one of Zambia’s most significant wetland resources. It is one of the few areas in the world that remain untouched by development and human activity.
There are three lovely tents with en-suite facilities with wall-to-wall views of the spectacular wildlife that frequents the plain in front of the camp. The dining and bar area is under the shady canopy of majestic trees. Generally, dinners are served under the stars overlooking the floodplains, or indoors subject to the weather.
Activities include game drives, walking safaris and night drives. Busanga Bush Camp is a paradise for bird lovers; the thrill is to be found both in the diversity and abundance of nearly 500 recorded species. This camp is also perfectly situated to see large numbers of plains game and their predators - including some of the best lion and cheetah viewing in Africa!
