A sample itinerary for a 13 day journey encompassing Singita Private Game Reserve, the Kalahari Desert and Mauritius.
Days 1, 2 & 3
After a night flight from London Heathrow into Johannesburg, you will be met by your pilot who will take you through to the light aircraft with which he will fly you to Singita Private Game Reserve. You will then be transferred to Singita Ebony, where you will spend the next three nights.

The accommodation, cuisine and service are truly exceptional and boast every conceivable luxury.
There are 12 luxury double suites with old colonial furniture mixed with a lot of the local crafts, fabrics and colours to create the feeling of 'old world' Africa. Each suite has an en suite bathroom and shower, outside shower, private swimming pool, double-sided fireplace, air-conditioning, private lounge and a game-viewing deck.
Activities centre on early morning and afternoon excursions in four-wheel drive vehicles there is an abundance of wildlife and birdlife in the area. There are also night drives, guided bush walks and spectacular birding. Bush breakfasts and sunset cocktails can be arranged; seasonal fishing, and also a tour to Justitia Village Community can also be arranged with the local Shangaan people.
Days 4, 5 & 6
After a good hearty brunch your guide will drive you to the airstrip to catch your light aircraft back to Johannesburg for your connecting flight onwards to Tswalu.
The Kalahari is the ancestral home of the San people, also known as the Bushmen, where despite the harsh environment; these people carved a livelihood for many millennia. In the Kalahari, the thornveld and sweeping sand dunes are home to some of the world's most fascinating wildlife. The harsh environment makes Tswalu a unique safari experience.
Tswalu is elegant, simple and luxurious. The Motse, which means "village", offers the main accommodation. It is built in the style of an African village consisting of authentically stone walled and thatch-roofed bungalows. It can accommodate a total of 20 guests in eight legaes. No creature comfort has been spared with each legae overlooking the watering hole and there being indoor and outdoor heated showers in every suite.
At Tswalu, the game viewing is fantastic and because the wildlife found here in the Kalahari is very different to that in other areas of South Africa such as the Sabi Sands the safari experience here is unique. Guided walks meander across silent red dunes. Drives in open-sided safari vehicles traverse the Kalahari wilderness and stop at the most scenic spots to allow visitors to enjoy an impressive sunset or splendid bush dinner. Game drives, bird watching, star gazing, and exciting visits to the habituated Meerkat dens of Tswalu are just some of the activities on offer.
Days 7
After your morning game drive you will return to camp for brunch. Your guide will then take you to Tswalu airstrip for your return journey to back to Johannesburg. On arrival you will make your way to the Intercontinental Hotel, located opposite the main terminal building at Johannesburg airport. Here you can relax, use all the facilities and enjoy the excellent cuisine.
Days 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, & 14
After a good early breakfast you will need to walk back to Johannesburg International Airport for your flight onwards to Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, Mauritius. You will then be transferred by private Vehicle to Four Seasons Resort at Anahita.
